In 1947, Jackie Robinson became the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era when he was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers and faced considerable racism in the process. This film is one of three Chadwick Boseman films being screened by SEB as a series honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Artist Alison Saar, Jo Hockenhull Distinguished Lectureship

This lecture is part of the current exhibition Mirror, Mirror: The Prints of Alison Saar, which is on view through March 12, 2022. The lecture will be followed by a reception for the artist from 5:30-6:30pm in the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, directly across from the CUB.
