Amber Wichowsky on “Inequality and Class”

Amber Wichowskythe director of the Marquette University’s Democracy Lab, explores the intersections between politics and inequality, including class biases in turnout, money in electoral campaigns, and how public policy affects societal inequalities. Her book The Economic Other: Inequality in the American Political Imagination examines how American use social comparisons to make sense of income inequality and how those frames affect attitudes about income redistribution and feelings of political power. Hosted by the Thomas S.
