“Cattails and Walmart: What Nature Gives Us When We Care to Look”

The wetlands of the world are undervalued. One wetlands’ star most of us are familiar with is the cattail/bulrush. Sian Ritchie of WSU’s School of Biological Sciences will lead attendees on a hands-on activity will help us appreciate this plant, and see how she can provide us with as much, and more, than a trip to Walmart. Hosted by the WSU Pullman Common Reading Program.
