The Access Center is hosting monthly discussions of Sick: A Memoir, by Prorchista Khakpour. It is about chronic illness, misdiagnosis, addiction, and the myth of full recovery. This month’s discussion will feature certain chapters, but attendees do not need to have read the book to participate–a summary will be included. The Access Center is also offering WSU students an opportunity to receive a free copy of Sick: A Memoir based on need and interest in participating in the discussions; see the Access Center website for more information about the book and the book scholarship.
