Presented by Jason Sampson (Environmental Health and Safety).  Researchers continually strive to improve technology.  In turn, companies provide these improvements as fast as they can be effectively manufactured and marketed.  Consumers purchase electronics to remain on the cutting edge and be competitive in the business world.  It is estimated that annually over 400 billion electronic devices worldwide are determined useless or obsolete and thrown away or recycled.  How does society stay ahead of this growing need for proper disposal of electronic waste?
