“Augmented and Virtual Reality as Immersive Learning Tools”

Presented by Don McMahon (Teaching and Learning).

Don McMahon, the director of WSU’s Assistive Technology Lab, will present on ways that augmented and virtual reality are currently being used as immersive learning tools in education and also the ways in which these technologies will shape the next ten years of education. McMahon is a leading voice for AR technology serving practical, educational purposes, beyond its more obvious use in gaming. Come and hear McMahon’s predictions of how closely your children’s school experience might resemble that of Wade Watts! Verification of attendance provided.
