“A Tale of Two U.S. Cities: Immigrant-Welcoming and Immigrant-Disparaging Reactions to Large Scale Latinx In-migration”

Nicolas Lovrich (Political Science) will talk about his work examining the differing responses to immigrant populations in two US cities: Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and Twin Falls, Idaho. Lovrich’s work examines not only the contemporary situation in each town but also the historical contexts that produced them. Verification of attendance available.
