Panel on “Exploring Eastern Washington in the Tale of Two Americas”

March 3, 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

This discussion will include faculty from multiple disciplines that include History, Psychology, Education as well as a representative from a local homeless shelter (tentative), who will use themes from this year’s Common Reading book, Tales of Two Americas, to discuss respective topics of inequality in Eastern Washington. Panelists discussing the history of inequalities, inequitable access to mental health care, disproportionate opportunities in education, and disparate housing will help foster intellectual discussion about issues that involve the entire community.
