“The Holocaust, Neo Nazism, and White Supremacy”

Panelists Kristine Hoover (Gonzaga University), C. Richard King (Columbia College, Chicago), and Rebecca Erbelding (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum) will discuss White supremacist organizations and Nazi movements in the United States generally, and in the Pacific Northwest in particular. The panelists will explore the development of white supremacist organizations at different times in American history, as well as their relationship to each other and to international Nazi movements. In addition, the panelists will discuss the connection between these organizations and versions of white supremacy in today’s America. Hosted by WSU Tri Cities College of Arts and Sciences in partnership with the WSU Center for the Arts and Humanities and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
