Steve James and Lois James (WSU College of Nursing) on “The Impact of Bias on Officer Decision Making”

To participate in this live, synchronous event, join this panel discussion using Zoom (Meeting ID: 996 7824 1089). WSU nursing professors Steve James and Lois James will talk about their research on police use of force, implicit bias, and the effect of fatigue on law enforcement officers. Recently featured in Robin Hauser’s documentary Bias, Drs. Steve and Lois James are asked frequently to work with police departments across the nation to improve officers awareness of how implicit bias and fatigue impact their interactions with the public. Hosted by the WSU Common Reading Program (Pullman).
