Protests, Race, and Politics

Christopher Parker from the Dept. of Political Science at the University of Washington will talk about the potential political consequences of the current massive street protests over the pandemic and the murder of George Floyd. In addition to many published books and articles, Parker is currently coauthoring a book entitled The Great White Hope: Donald Trump, Race, and the crisis of American Democracy. Parker’s lecture will be hosted by the Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service at WSU.
