Public Square/Moderated Discussion on College Student Food Insecurity

September 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Join us for a Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) Public Square on the topic of food insecurity for college students. Using the exhibition The Art of Food and WSU’s common reading book How the Other Half Eats as points of departure, this moderated discussion will focus on food insecurity among college students throughout the state of Washington and beyond.

Following the Public Square, from 1:15-3:00: A Pop-Up Community Market in front of the museum on the Terrell Mall will highlight different ways food brings us together as a community, showcasing local produce and products as well as addressing food insecurity needs for the student population. Fresh produce and food will be free for students. Register to receive the link for the livestreamed panel: https://futurecoug.wsu.edu/register/reading092724
