Sister Simone Campbell is the executive director of NETWORK, a national Catholic social justice lobby. She is a religious leader, attorney, and poet with extensive experience in public policy and advocacy for systemic change. She authored A Nun on the Bus: How All of Us Can Create Hope, Change, and Community. In Washington, D.C., she lobbies on issues of peace-building, immigration reform, healthcare, and economic justices. She is a noted national speaker and educator on public policy issues and has led three cross-country “Nuns on the Bus” trips, focused on social justice issues.
