Registration for Round Bag Weaving Workshop on Sat., Feb. 24, 2024

Join us at the Schnitzer Museum WSU on Sat., Feb. 24, 2024 for a one-day round bag weaving workshop with Jacy Sohappy (Taamamno Ilp Ilp—“Red Hummingbird”).

Sohappy is the traditional arts manager at Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts and is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation. At each of the free workshops, Sohappy will lead up to 12 participants in the creation of a mini-round bag.

Registration is required to attend the workshop. For each, six of the 12 available spots will be reserved for WSU students. Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Common Reading Program.

Another workshop for 12 participants will be held on Friday, February 23.
