Authors of Soonish, Kelly and Zach Weinersmith, present the 2018-19 Common Reading Invited Lecture

October 22, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Held in the CUB Senior Ballroom

“How Little We Know: Why Most of Our Opinions Are Probably Wrong” is the title of the 12th annual Common Reading Invited Lecture, presented by Kelly and Zach Weinersmith. They are the scientist and cartoonist (respectively) who authored this year’s common reading book, Soonish: Ten Emergting Technologies That’ll Improve and/or Ruin Everything. The Weinersmith’s will share their journey exploring and presenting research that has the power to “improve and/or ruin everything.” Come hear—and see—what led this duo to this project, and what they hope you will take away from it! Following their presentation, they will sign copies of the book. Verification of attendance at this Common Reading event will be available.
