Climate Wisdom Lab Experiential Workshop with University of Oregon and University of Colorado, “Capacity Building for the Climate Movement”

March 7, 2023 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

WSU faculty, staff, and students are invited to join with peers from the University of Oregon and the University of Colorado-Boulder for a experiential workshop led by the Climate Wisdom Lab. The virtual, interactive workshop will focus on acknowledging and addressing the emotional anxiety that arises from researching, teaching, and studying the topic of climate change. Led by Kevin Gallagher (Director of Emergent Resilience) and Sarah Jacquette Ray (author of A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety), the workshop aims to provide tools for developing and maintaining individual and social resilience, and for participants to discuss these topics with peers at other Pac‑12 institutions also using Braiding Sweetgrass as their Common Reading. You can register to attend as a WSU participant on the Common Reading website. (Note: registration is limited.)
