Fulbright Scholar and Musician Yii Kah Hoe on “A Dialogue Between Music and Nature”

Yii Kah Hoe, a composer and musician spending this academic year at WSU as a Fulbright Scholar, will share a dialogue between four Malaysian musicians and nature. Yii will be speaking about his project GEMA Hutan, which works to preserve the vanishing sound of nature in Borneo’s rainforests by incorporating those sounds into musical compositions. Hosted by the WSU Pullman Common Reading Program.
