The nationally acclaimed Defamation Experience begins with a 70-minute courtroom drama that explores the highly charged issues surrounding race, class, religion, gender and the law with a twist — the audience is the jury. Combined with an audience deliberation and facilitated discussion, The Defamation Experience is a unique opportunity to engage in civil discourse about the most pressing social issues of our day. The four-phase experience of DefEx Online ensures all students, student organizations, faculty, staff, and community members will be seen, will be heard, and will be a part of the story our community will tell together in long-lasting conversations.
