“Designing a Mobile App to Assist Refugees”

Presented by Chien-Yi Chu and Ayad Rahmani (Design and Construction)
Master’s student Chien-Yi Chu worked with Professor Rahmani to design the concept for a mobile app using augmented reality that she hopes will someday help refugees assimilate in the UK. The presenters will talk about the inspiration, concept, and development process for this project, which they will present at the RC21 Urban and Regional Development conference in Delhi, India, this fall. Event sponsored by UNIV 104. Verification of attendance will be provided.
