Native American Painting History & Acknowledgment of Lands

November 13, 2020 @ 4:30 pm

This virtual workshop (Zoom passcode: 007222) will focus on the recognition of stolen lands which are not occupied by others. Native American muralist Rodolfo Serna will provide a painting lesson while also bringing long overdue recognition and appreciation to our Indigenous populations. Serna will talk about indigenous populations and the history of Native American lands and paintings, while teaching fun painting skills. You will be encouraged and inspired to recognize and appreciate indigenous populations as you learn, share and create a space for Native Americans. Hosted by the Center for Intercultural Learning and Affirmation (WSU Vancouver) as part of Native American Heritage Month.
