“Of Poetry and Place,” by Claudia Castro Luna, Washington State Poet Laureate

Claudia Castro Luna was born in El Salvador. She is the author of Killing Marias (2017) and the chapbook This City (2016). In 2019 Castro Luna was named an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow. She teaches at Seattle University and serves as poet laureate for the State of Washington (2018-2021). Her talk is hosted by the WSU Center for Arts and Humanities.
