“Palouse Prairie Habitat Restoration”

February 6 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The WSU Common Reading Program will host a talk on efforts to restore the Palouse Prairie on Tues., Feb. 6, at 4:30 pm in CUE 203 on the WSU Pullman campus. Palouse Prairie Project Manager Shannon Collins and Executive Director Chris Duke will present on the work of the Phoenix Conservancy to restore habitat on the Palouse, one of the most endangered native ecosystems in the world, as well as in other global locations. The talk is free and open to the public.

This talk is part of the WSU Common Reading’s year-long activities related to use of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s essay collection, “Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants.”
